The Women's Development Committee/El Comité de Desarrollo de la Mujer (CODEMU) is an organization within CAC Pangoa that runs programs specifically designed to empower women who are either directly or indirectly connected to the cooperative. CODEMU's focus is on leadership and self-esteem development, cooperative organization and participation, and micro-enterprise.

Specifically, the committee's project areas include: enterprise development using micro-credits, the installation of a clean water supply/kitchen improvements, the development of products derived from locally grown fruits, animal husbandry, and participation in and product demonstration in expositions.
